Pre-FanimeCon 2007 Report

San Jose, California. On the third floor of the San Jose Marriott hotel, the staff of FanimeCon are getting ready for what promises to be the greatest Fanime of all times. Why does Fanime get its own special pre-convention report coverage? As a former staffer for Fanime, this convention has a special place in my heart that will never be forgotten since FanimeCon 2002. Every year Fanime gets better with more cosplayers, more action, more fun, and more excitement. Who better to bring this action than the men and women who help make this convention happen. For 13 years since their debut at Cal State Hayward (Cal State East Bay) Fanime has grown bigger every year with more people from all across the US coming to this convention for a special calling that bring passion among the fans. No other convention in the world has this greater passion that feeds people those urges to finally come out of the house and realize a whole new world one has never seen before. For the past six years, I've felt that passion and realized a whole new world I have never seen before. Where people can talk to one another without hesitation, to realize a special bond between two people who share the same interest. That bond someday can lead to great happiness when one has fallen down and needs to be picked up. The anime community is a special bond among people who share a great passion for these conventions we all go to, not one person is ever left behind at these conventions. This is why we go to conventions! The passion that makes us who we are! This Fanime promises to be the best Fanime of them all! This year for the first time in five years of attendance, we are proud to take pride as Press for FanimeCon. We promise to take more pictures than any other past conventions in the span of five days of our attendance. We are going to cover every part of Fanime as much as we possibly can, from the newly developed Maid Cafe, to the ZZ Concert on Thursday evening, to as many panels you can possibly think of, and to the height of all conventions. The Masquerade. Not one year of masquerade has been missed and we promise to keep that perfect record. As of Monday May 21, 2007. There is now three more days until FanimeCon begins. We promise all of our readers and cosplayers that we are going to make this convention coverage the best of them all!

See you at Fanime!
