Northern California Cosplay Picnic

We are proud to announce the first ever Northern California Cosplay Picnic Gathering that will take place in San Francisco, CA. in the heart of the San Francisco Bay Area, Treasure Island. The island itself is about 2 square miles, with the most beautiful view of San Francisco in the background, many locations for photo shoots, picnic grounds, sports fields, and easy access by car and public transportation. What better way than to get to know the cosplay community within your area who share the same common interest. Do you have to cosplay to come to event? Not at all! You can still come and hang out with your friends and get the chance to meet other people! What more is there to do at this event? We'll be putting on a cosplay contest featuring the fabulous MC Mr. Wendell (ReccaCon, Tales of Anime & Stage Zero at FanimeCon). Dollfie gathering for all you dollfie collectors out there who want to show off your dollfies. Treasure hunt, think you can find the buried treasure hidden on Treasure Island? Use the instructions you are given and find the buried treasure to win whatever is inside the treasure chest. Outdoor games featuring jump rope, ninja ninja anbu, ninja twister, and many more! This event with some minor tweaks is based on the SoCal Picnic Gatherings run by Miss Tea, SushiMonster, & Ms. Narusegawa who've run the SoCal Picnic Gathering for the past 2 years! They have offered their services for this event and we look forward to having them apart of this picnic!

If that isn't enough to get you to come, here's what will. All attendees who attend in costume will automatically be in the Cosplay Contest. Want to perform a skit? Guess what, there's no need to practice for this event, we highly encourage everybody to perform their skits in the form of improv! That's right, no need to practice like mad for a huge convention, don't be afraid to do whatever you want with your cosplay. Prizes will be awarded for the following categories. Best in Show, Best Costume, Best Skit, & Judge's Choice. Honerable Mentions will be given out as well. We hope this will get you motivated to come to this picnic.

We will also like to add that this picnic is a potluck event! We will provide estimate amount of people who will be at the picnic at least 2 - 3 weeks in advance on this page. So remember to bring enough for everybody and grab as much as you can eat! Consider this like a all you can eat buffet!

Remember we wish to have all of Northern California's cosplayers come to this event and we're working with every region to help bring you to this picnic!
